A festive start

Fireworks to accompany the driving of the first pile is a practice that is frowned upon nowadays. However, to get things going at a ceremony to mark the occasion we have an alternative for you: the traditional Dutch tripod rig.

Vroom Funderingstechnieken (Vroom Foundation Technology) rents out the tripod rig (including transportation, assembly and dismantling) and can provide expert support to mark the event.

VIPs pull the strings

A wooden test pile is driven into the ground with the ram and removed afterwards. This event to mark the start of the work, at which the celebrities pull the strings is a great photo opportunity (including action photos) and brings plenty publicity with it.

The ceremony

The traditional Dutch tripod rig is assembled on-site around 45 minutes - 1 hour before the ceremony and dismantled 45 minutes - 1 hour afterwards. The tripod rig is set up adjacent to the access road. We advise you to get 8 people to operate the tripod rig as the ram which has to be lifted is very heavy. Many hands make light work (of pile driving!) Start the film to get in the party mood, or download the leaflet for more information.

Make the party go with a bang

To give the final blow a festive feel, how about a confetti cannon, a champagne bottle of balloons or some other light-hearted gesture?
