We need around two weeks to get all these piles in the ground. The piles will have 5 days’ curing time, before they are checked for irregularities or discontinuities; then the process of making the foundation beams can commence. Project manager Frits took these great snaps at the building site.

New business premises built from scratch in Waardenburg will be resting on a foundation of DPA screw piles. A length of around 2500 metres of this type of pile will be installed under this building’s footprint. The advantage of this system is that it does not generate vibrations when the piles are inserted in the ground. So people in the immediate vicinity can continue with what they are doing, undisturbed, while we get our work done.
