IAA Architecten designed the shell of this multi-purpose building in the centre of Noordwijk. Housed in the building are, among other things, a dentist, a GP, a café/restaurant, a supermarket, physiotherapy practice and a swimming pool. Given the clients and the buildings surrounding the building site, we decided to go for drilled piles.

We will be producing 288 concrete screw piles in around four weeks. The project construction team is made up of three workers, the piling rig operator, the midi-excavator operator and a foundation engineer. Together, they are ensuring that the piles are made according to the piling plan, a plan plotting the positions of each of the piles.
