More and more businesses are establishing premises at Baanstee Noord. It already provides work for more than 1000 people. So it really is time to provide more amenities. In the coming year EG Retail will build amenities including an ESSO filling station providing new, sustainable diesel, petrol, electric charging points and, in future, possibly hydrogen as well. The amenities point will also include a Spar to go, Burger King, Starbucks and a Go Fresh Bakery. And, in the near future, there will also be the possibility of renting flexible office space.

On Baanstee Noord industrial estate in Purmerend we have made vibrated piles for foundations of a new EG Retail amenities point.

Baanstee Noord is flourishing. Over the past few years, a number of great new businesses have come to the industrial estate. Heron, Sligro, Harcotom, Groenhart, Knook A.G.F. and Caravan Centrum Waterland, to name but a few. The local authority launched a tender procedure for the development of an amenities point. EG Retail had the best concept of all submitted bids and is now busy building. Mario Hegger, responsible for the relevant portfolio at the local authority, is happy at the prospect of the amenities point. “Baanstee is becoming increasingly important for the economy of Purmerend. The amenities are necessary for everyone who works at Baanstee, but are also a boon for the rest of Purmerend!” Around 25 people will soon be working at the new amenities point.
