Lay-down areas for 76 dwellings

76 dwellings42 lay-down areas

Weesp is growing rapidly: a total of 2750 dwellings are to be built in water-abundant Weespersluis. In this phase, we are assembling the lay-down areas for 76 dwellings.

At an earlier stage, Vroom Betonbouw carried out work associated with a number of phases in the project at this site. We are now placing and assembling the lay-down areas for the “Vechtrijk XAB1” phase, too.

Building with pre-cast lay-down areas benefits efficiency in general, speed of construction and consistent quality of the end product. The pre-cast lay-down areas were designed by Vroom and produced by Appel Beton. Assembled lay-down areas are KOMO-KIWA certified. The pre-cast components ensure rapid construction.
See our 3D product animation for lay-down areas here.

Partnership between Vroom Betonbouw and Appel Beton

The collaboration between Vroom Betonbouw and Appel Beton began over fifteen years ago. The partnership has become more intensive since 2014. The company, which made pre-cast concrete products, and had, up to that point, generally been a supplier, has since exclusively joined forces with Vroom Betonbouw.

New-build project with the allure of the fortified town
Vechtrijk XAB1 is a stunning phase of the project encompassing a small-scale harbour, close to the shopping area. The dwellings in Vechtrijk have the look and feel of those found in a walled town on the river Vecht: gable-ended and stepped-gable façades, or a dovecote on the roof. The chance to live in a unique dwelling in unique surroundings. This phase gives access to the water on three sides. The harbour is adjacent to the square. This phase of Weespersluis is right next to the shopping centre. This phase will deliver a total of 76 dwellings: detached houses, spacious semi-detached houses and terraced houses. The traditional ‘Olden-days Holland’ building style, with the typically clean lines of the façades and the wide, high windows are a feature of this phase.
Vechtrijk XAB1 will include:

  • 6 semi-detached houses
  • 2 detached houses
  • 68 terraced houses
