With our total package, we make it possible for private individuals to carry out activities for them. As we carry out more elements of the package, the client deals with only two executing parties. Vroom takes care of the complete foundation until the top of the floor and the so-called DNN for the prefab set-up.
Foundation piles
Underneath the home, we have applied CFA piles. These piles are being poured on-site and the reinforcement baskets are being applied. As the piles have been drilled, the production process does not cause any noise or vibrations.
Prefab foundation beams
Because of the placement of the prefab set-up, the foundation for this project is different. On places where supporting walls are being mounted onto the foundation, concrete mortar is being poured. Here the foundation beams are 800 mm high. In order to connect the prefab set-up well to the foundation beams, steel anchors have been poured with the foundation. The set-up’s steel construction will be connected to them. As the home has a very high isolation value, the foundation beams have been isolated as well. As the foundation involves prefab foundation beams, they have been placed in one day.
Ground-level floor elements
The ground-level floor has been made out of timber floor cassettes. The elements have a thin concrete layer so that openings and hatchways can basically placed in every position. Underneath the floors is a thick isolation layer so that cold radiation through the floor is minimal. The elements are 1200 mm wide and are being placed directly next to each other resulting into a floor surface. The entire floor will be applied within one day.
Concrete compression layer
The loads for this home are so high that a connection between the foundation beams and the floor elements has to be realized. Therefore, we have applied a concrete compression layer. From the foundation beams, reinforcement bars are sticking out that have been bent on the floor with reinforcement nets on them. Subsequently, a 70 mm layer will be poured onto the entire floor and foundation resulting into a plate connecting the foundation and the floor. As the foundation and the floor are one now, they are much stronger and can particularly resist heavy wind loads.
