The piles are being cast in-situ without producing any vibration and with only limited sound. This is a must given the current (older) homes surrounding the construction site. The piling activities will take approximately 4 days. Subsequently, the piles will be dimensioned and made ready for use for the new foundation.

On Kapelstraat, seven rental homes are being built under the authority of Stichting Wonen Beheer ‘De Vooruitgang’. There used to be 7 worker’s houses on this site, built in 1955. These ones have been demolished so that Vroom can apply DPA piles here.
