Smartlog distribution centers

568 Pfähle15 km Pfähle

In the port of Rotterdam, Stolwijk-based contractor De Vries en Verburg is building a high-quality logistic campus consisting of five distribution centers. The building will have a total surface of 30,000 m2.

The logistic building has, in addition to five distribution centers, a mezzanine and an office space. All rooms have been equipped with an ESFR sprinkler system (central fire water supply) so that they are suitable for the storage of consumer goods.

Piling activities

The piling activities include the realization of 568 cast-in-situ vibro piles measuring a total length of 15,386 m. Piles with diameters of 323, 356 and 457 mm have been produced with a Hitachi KH-300GLS rig. The longest pile is 31,5 m.

Completion

This warehouse’s completion has been scheduled for September of this year. We aim to complete the whole logistic campus (suitable for the storage of consumer goods) by the end of this year.
