Vibrated SD (small-diameter) piles are formed in-situ and displace soil. They can be used as the foundations for floors in production halls and under piled embankments. The combination of pile and floor surface often lead to a design that maximises the price/quality ratio: the vibrated SD piles can be installed with a rapid production time and short lead time.
See the 3D product animation for this pile system here.
TMA Logistics is an important logistics player within the North Sea Canal area and transships cargo from containers to inland-waterway transportation, short sea and deep sea. Cars, break bulk, agricultural products and project cargo are also transshipped at the TMA terminals in Velsen, Beverwijk, Harlingen and Amsterdam.
TMA has 100,000 m2 of logistics warehouses in the North Sea Canal area, Alkmaar and Harlingen. As far as sustainability is concerned, TMA is a front-runner in both inland shipping and new forms of energy. TMA’s vessels achieve a reduction in transportation movements with heavy-goods vehicles and, as a result, a reduction in emissions. TMA is also a force to be reckoned with in the transshipment of wind turbines, wind turbine components, energy cables and solar-power related products. In this way, TMA Logistics is making its contribution to the energy transition.
