For the crossroad spanning the Van Harinxmakanaal, an aqueduct will be built. Moreover, the in-depth part of the road will be surrounded by five new aqueducts. A total of almost 6,000 piles will be inserted using 6 rigs simultaneously.

The N31 in Harlingen will be broadened over a distance of approximately 3 km and will be upgraded from a two-lane road to a four-lane one. Around 2 km of the road will be constructed in an in-depth part of the road and for that purpose, Vroom has inserted prefab piles.
