In the last quarter of 2021, we have no less than 6 piling rigs standing here, ready to get to work on 5400 vibrated piles, each with a length of 24 metres.
Vibrated HBF-type piles are highly suited to projects in the field of non-residential construction, but also residential, infrastructure and energy sector projects. Vibrated piles can be made to be very long, but the delivery time is always short. Rough-boring cuts down on pile-driving vibration, and the use of a noise-reducing jacket during the work gives even more damping.
We have previously made vibrated-pile foundations for Smartlog 4 and Smartlog 5.
Everything under its own control
The logistics complex covers an area of around 42,000 m². It is scheduled for completion in mid-2022. DHG is an investor and developer in logistics real estate. From the start of development, right up to letting, managing and maintaining the property, DHG has each part of the process under its own management.
Smartlog 6 is a new development for a high-quality logistics distribution centre, located on the Bunschotenweg in Rotterdam. Strategically situated in the Port of Rotterdam and in the vicinity of the A15 motorway (Europoort-Rotterdam-Nijmegen). The A15 motorway gives the site a short connection to the A4 motorway (Amsterdam) and the A16 motorway (Moerdijk-Antwerp). Also nearby are Distripark Botlek, the former ECT Home Terminal and the Delta Terminal.
