Vroom Holding has acquired the majority stake in Beton- en Vlechtbedrijf Hadek.
With this acquisition, Vroom expands its services in the field of complete foundation constructions further and takes another step in fulfilling its promise to increasingly relieve its customers as an all-rounder in pile systems and (prefab) foundation constructions.
Together with Craft Capital, Vroom’s partner since 2021, Vroom continues to look for further growth opportunities, both organically and through acquisitions.

Hadek is located in Breukelen and specializes in rebar work for the concrete (steel) industry. Hadek mainly focuses on concrete construction, reinforcement work, basement construction, and foundation repair. Hadek has its own reinforcement centre for cutting, bending, and welding reinforcement steel according to the supplied construction and building drawings.
Peter Baas, Managing Director of Hadek, says the following about the transaction: “We, the Team Hadek, are totally excited to continue building the future of Hadek together with Team Vroom. Building together, trusting each other. Stronger together!”
The years of knowledge and experience in rebar works and reinforcement techniques of Hadek, ensure a broadening of Vroom’s current product and service offering in the field of traditional concrete work, the combination of wet concrete and prefab foundations, and responding to the increasing demand for foundation repair.
In addition to the commercial strengthening for both parties, the acquisition offers a number of operational advantages, such as economies of scale in the area of purchasing, centralization of automation, accounting, and marketing.
Peter Vroom, CEO of Vroom, says the following about the transaction: “We are pleased with this addition, it fits within our strategy and the similarities between our cultures give confidence in a joint future.”
From Vroom, Peter Vroom and Sandro Pronk, together with Peter Baas and Pascal Papendorp from Hadek, will shape the further integration.
