CO₂ Performance Ladder
At Vroom Funderingstechnieken, we consider it important to reduce our CO₂ emissions. We aim to contribute to a cleaner future. The CO₂ Performance Ladder helps us achieve this. It is a tool that shows how companies can reduce energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. The objective we have set is aligned with the Dutch government’s targets for Clean and Zero-Emission Construction (SEB) 2050.
Using the CO₂ Performance Ladder, we work towards this goal step by step. We assess our energy consumption, our machinery and how we can work more efficiently. In this way, we ensure that our CO₂ emissions continue to decrease. We always assess our investments carefully. For each investment, we consider whether, under current market conditions and with the available technologies, it genuinely contributes to achieving our objectives. This also means that diesel-powered machinery may still be purchased in the near future if this is the most appropriate choice at that time. In every case, we assess whether the investment fits within our long-term ambitions.

The objective, aligned with Clean and Zero-Emission Construction (SEB) 2050 and taking into account the purchase of diesel-powered machinery in the coming years, is as follows:
- 2026: 5% reduction → 6,121 tonnes
- 2030: 20% reduction → 5,150 tonnes
- 2040: 50% reduction → 3,223 tonnes
- 2050: 100% reduction → 0 tonnes
