After years of consultations with various authorities, citizen participation, and planning, the construction of the Enkhuizer Strand holiday park has commenced.
On July 1, the 100th pile was driven for 154 holiday homes. The work is in full swing and is on track to have the first holiday homes ready for use in October.
Alderman Jan Franx and EuroParcs board member Andries Bruil, along with approximately 100 guests, were present at this festive moment. The welcoming speech was preceded by cheerful songs from the Compagniezangers from Medemblik, amidst several beautiful model homes. The group then moved to the construction site, where the signal was given to start driving this ‘milestone’ pile, which was adorned with a sticker bearing Vroom’s logo “GOOD LUCK WITH THE CONSTRUCTION!”
