Zeeburgereiland is one of the most recent large development locations surrounded by the Amsterdam beltway. It is located on the east side of the city centre and it forms the link between IJburg, the northern borough and the centre. The area has functioned as a business location for long and included typical city facilities such as a sewage plant. It will now be realized as a new urban area including around 5,000 homes, companies and (recreational) facilities.

On Zeeburgereiland, 144 homes and a parking garage will be realized. For this purpose, we will insert over 160 long vibro piles. The piles, until 43 m long, will take care of the bearing capacity on the third sand layer.
