For the expansion, 1,141 heavy vibro piles are needed that will be applied by Vroom’s largest foundation rigs: the Hitachi CX1100GLS and the brand-new Woltman 160DR. These vibro piles come with a maximum diameter of 406 mm and measure 33 m long.

Recently, BMC Moerdijk bought a site measuring 4 hectares right next to the energy plant that burns poultry manure. On a part of the site, an indoor depot for poultry manure will be built. BMC will also store ashes here that remain after the burning process.
