Innovative and social living at apartments ‘De Venen’: Vroom Funderingstechnieken lays the foundation for sustainable living pleasure in The Hague with minimal inconvenience and a keen eye for the surroundings.

On behalf of Dura Vermeer Bouw Zuid West B.V., Vroom Funderingstechnieken manufactures 343 soil displacement screw piles of the DPA type for the foundation of 132 apartments and a parking garage. This is done with great care, taking into account the urban environment.

By using our DPA screw piles, a foundation technique that significantly reduces nuisance, the disturbance in the form of noise and vibrations is considerably limited. This results in minimal impact on the life of the community and the business activities in the area, while at the same time laying the foundation for future-proof and sustainable housing.

Together with lead structural engineer Kaskon, a plan for the foundation has been developed that is optimal and feasible with respect to CO2 emissions and the feasibility regarding old, residual foundation piles.

With a total of 132 homes specifically intended for the social rental sector. The design stands out for its architecture and green provisions, including roof gardens and inner gardens that will encompass both private spaces and a shared vegetable garden.
