Because of the wide span, 4 VGS piles with grout measuring around 23 m have been drilled in a slant position on each side of the entrance. This project has been realized according to strict DSM safety guidelines.
The frame entrance will be 51 m long and 8 m high. The triangle will be fully covered with Alucobond panels for a contemporary and massive personality.
To both ends of the entrance, VGS piles with grout have been applied. In the meantime, the DSM site’s access road had to be crossed under the guidance of DSM as well as Heijmans security officers. Following the crossing, also to the entrance’s other side, 4 VGS piles have been applied with low-vibration levels.
