Foundation work in a protected urban landscape

28 homes167 piles

In Edam, we are implementing foundations designed to minimize construction impact. Using low-noise, vibration-free DPA screw piles, we ensure stability without posing risks to the surrounding area.

For this project, located in an existing residential neighbourhood, we opted for DPA screw piles due to their minimal noise and vibration characteristics. This makes the system exceptionally suitable for urban locations and construction near sensitive adjoining properties. Vroom Funderingstechnieken manufactures these screw piles in compliance with strict quality standards, with an internal procedure in place to ensure adherence to national execution requirements.

Living in harmony

In Noorderstraat, Edam, twenty outdated houses are being replaced with 28 modern social rental homes. This project includes 4 single-family homes and 24 split-level apartments, distributed across three residential blocks. The design has been carefully tailored to complement Edam's historic character as a protected urban landscape. By catering to various target groups, such as first-time buyers, seniors and families, the project creates a diverse and sustainable living environment. It demonstrates how new construction can seamlessly integrate into its surroundings while meeting the growing demand for high-quality, affordable housing.
