A project of particular significance: in the picturesque village of Etersheim, Vroom Foundation Techniques, in collaboration with Junttan PMx22, is literally taking the first steps towards a new future. The new residence is designed with a lightweight construction approach. The facades will consist of cavity walls with timber-framed walls on the interior and timberwork and brick on the exterior. The lightweight partition walls will also be constructed using timber framing.
New house on IJsselmeerdijk
We are driving precast driven piles for a newly constructed house along the IJsselmeerdijk, situated between Edam and Hoorn.
Outermost place
Etersheim is the second-lowest point in the Netherlands and is a hamlet within the North Holland municipality of Edam-Volendam. Today, Etersheim is a part of the nearby village of Oosthuizen. The hamlet dates back to around the year 800, making it one of the oldest inhabited areas in the municipality. The name Etersheim, as mentioned in a 1277 charter, translates to "uiterste woonplaats", which means "outermost place of residence."
