With its remarkable green aluminium façade, the building will be an eye-catcher alongside the A7 freeway: it’s the top athlete care center for FC Groningen. The building will be borne by 197 vibro piles, realized by Vroom Foundation Technology.

A multifunctional sport’s hall for top athletes will be built with a 40m race lane. In addition, space for weight training will be realized. The hall will be built on ground-floor level, fully meant for FC Groningen. The first team and the six juvenile teams will have their own dressing rooms. On the other three floors offices, the player’s home, a catering department and a scientific knowledge center will be built. Because of the construction project, the parking site belonging to the sport’s park will be re-established. The building must be ready in June of 2018.
