We are making the foundation piles for various new dwellings at the De Lusthof development in Purmerend. The project is part of the expansion of the historic town centre of Purmerend.

At a distance of a mere 12 km from our head office in Oosthuizen, the construction of 84 new dwellings has started in Purmerend. A ‘home game’ for many of our workers. Over the past few years, Purmerend has been a key element in the strategy for newbuild housing in special locations, a trend which is set to continue.
For this project, we have opted for vibrated piles and DPA-PLUS screw piles. Both foundation technologies involve cast-in situ piles and soil displacement piles.

Kop West

De Lusthof is situated in Kop West and offers the opportunity of living adjacent to a common green inner courtyard. The project is made up of 84 owner-occupied and rental dwellings, from detached houses to apartments and ground-floor flats/maisonettes on a fantastic site close to the heart of town, in a lively area with many public amenities. De Lusthof is a great place to live for young and old, with a wide range of housing types.

There will be 11 large detached houses (owner-occupied), 20 modern apartments (owner-occupied) and 53 rental dwellings intended for the mid-range rental sector and free (non-regulated) sector. The PPHP (pleasant places, happy people) design ethos is evident in the communal green inner courtyard, which was designed by BOOM Landscape.
