A distribution centre with a footprint of no less than 60,000 m2 is rising rapidly on the Kaapstadweg in Amsterdam. This new-build project is being constructed on a 9-hectare plot. This highly sustainable distribution centre – the aim is to be awarded BREEAM Very Good certification – will house office space of 1500 m2. The design is by Hercuton, and the construction process is being supervised by Amstelius.
A fleet of 3 pile drivers on Kaapstadweg

On behalf of Hercuton, we are installing 12,000 vibrated SD piles on the Kaapstadweg. In order to make all these piles, we have to make sure there is sufficient equipment on site. Hence the three pile drivers, concrete mixers, compact excavators etc. Ultimately, our foundations will be crowned with a distribution centre for Fetim.
