On the innovative Strandeiland IJburg, we have made an important contribution to the construction of 194 apartments and 9 ground-level homes on behalf of Friso. A total of 536 DPA piles were installed for the foundations of 10 residential blocks. With an average length of 30 metres, these piles were drilled deep into the subsoil to provide the structures with a reliable and sustainable foundation base.

Strandeiland M2C and M3B form part of the large-scale Strandeiland area development on IJburg in Amsterdam. This new island is being developed into a sustainable, water-rich urban district. Within the Muiden neighbourhood, where these residential blocks are being built, the emphasis is on a green, accessible living environment with compact building blocks and space for meeting, play and recreation. The project contributes to the delivery of affordable homes and a future-proof living environment for a broad range of residents.
