In the Cruquius area, Houtsma is taking shape: a new waterfront neighbourhood with space for tranquillity and greenery. Vroom Funderingstechnieken has laid the foundation for this ambitious project, enabling 259 homes to be constructed on a solid and durable base.

For the Houtsma project in the Cruquius area, DPA screw piles and DPA-PLUS screw piles have been selected. These innovative piling systems operate without noise or vibration, ensuring minimal disturbance to the surrounding area. With no fewer than 933 piles, we are delivering a foundation that is not only robust but also suitable for a wide range of soil conditions. The applied screw piles are ideally suited to urban projects, where reliability and minimal disruption are essential. Thanks in part to this solid foundation, the neighbourhood can develop into a place that will endure for generations.
