‘Green’ slabs
In Kampen, building work is progressing on a new production hall. It will house a new concrete slab carousel and large-scale climatic chambers. Other than with fired products, concrete slabs are not subjected to high-temperature firing processes. Concrete slabs cure in climatic chambers, so they have a lower CO2 footprint during production. The new hall will provide a boost to MBI. It is expected to be ready in November 2023.
