Vroom Funderingstechnieken (Vroom Foundations Technology) is a specialist in managing and completing projects involving pre-fab concrete products: foundation beams, lay-down areas, lift pits, hollow-core slab floors, retaining walls, ribbed slab floors, cellars, foundation blocks and base boards. The pre-fab concrete products are designed, produced and supplied by Vroom, and are KOMO-KIWA certified. Vroom also carries out conventional concrete work for foundation structures and foundation repair. When laying foundations for public utilities, Vroom also produces floor areas. Vibrated SD piles are inserted into the ground close together to create a ‘nail bed’. To do this, we make a complete design in which these piles work together with the floor in the best way possible. This gives the floor a solid foundation.

New construction in the Kuyperwijk
2021 will see the advent of new houses and apartments in the Van der Goesstraat and the Van Schuijlenburchstraat in Delft. Vroom will be providing the foundations for this using a range of pile systems, and will be placing pre-cast foundation elements.

34 dwellings, Westend
Heembouw and Kennemerland Beheer (KB) are developing the planned “West-End” area for use as a residential area. The aim is to create an exceptionally sustainable neighbourhood. Gas-free, in part zero meter use (ZMU) dwellings and otherwise ‘very energy-efficient’ homes. We give these dwellings a complete foundation package, which is made up of driven piles, foundation beams, foundation blocks and lay-down areas.

84 dwellings, Park Centraal
It's a great number to start with, because the Park Centraal project will ultimately have 365 dwellings. This is part of the hard work involved in resolving the housing shortage in the Netherlands. In response to a development by AM, BAM Wonen is building dwellings from its residential collection here. We are currently engaged in the construction of 84 dwellings for phase 5.

105 dwellings, Hof van Bilthoven
In Bilthoven we have started laying the foundations for 72 owner-occupied homes and 33 social-housing homes as part of a project managed by master contractor ERA Contour, part of the TBI Group. A nice number of dwellings, which makes the project ideal for the use of pre-cast concrete. The pre-cast elements are delivered to the site and installed accordingly.

64 dwellings, Hoef en Haag
In Vianen a start has been made on construction of 64 energy-neutral dwellings that are not dependent on natural gas in the Hoef en Haag development. For a standard household the energy generated sustainably is equal to the amount used. A large section is being built on the canal or on the Meander, the new watercourse to be built, over which some of the development will look.

Vrijzicht – 14 apartments
Vrijzicht 2 is being built around the corner from the Klokhuis building in Almere. The buildings’ foundations are formed with vibrated HBF-type piles. On top of this comes pre-fab foundations that we designed, delivered and installed. This type of foundation makes shorter building time and increased standards of building possible.

45 homes Helsdingen
In Vianen, the foundation has been laid for another 45 homes for the Helsdingen plan right next to the A2 freeway. This is a continuation after the construction of 50 homes built in an earlier stage. The project is being realized by Ballast Nedam West.

74 homes in Nieuw Rhijngeest
The new Oegstgeest neighbourhood Nieuw Rhijngeest will ultimately include 1,100 homes. We will be involved with the construction of 74 town houses. The neighbourhood is located between the Oude Rijn river and the A44 freeway near Leiden.

Strandresort Ouddorp Duin
Alongside the coastline of the island of Goeree-Overflakkee, Strandresort Ouddorp Duin will be built on the border from the land to the sea in the next years to come. We will take care of the dimensioning process, the piling activities and the mounting process of the prefab foundation and floors for a total number of 120 homes.

14 C-ZAN apartments
Alongside the freeway around Amsterdam, Hecon Bouwgroep will build 14 apartments. After 7 years, the decision has been made: we are going to construct! Vroom has applied the prefab foundation consisting of prefab foundation beams with a prefab quay wall. Also, the elevator well in the centre will be realized with prefab elements.

Semi-detached dune villa
In Wijk aan Zee’s dunes, we are placing the foundation for a dune villa. For this private individual, we are delivering a total package consisting of CFA piles with mortar, prefab foundation, prefab ground-level floor elements and concrete compression layer.

6 low-energy EC Garantwoningen
EC Garantwoning (Energiezuinig en Comfortabel, low-energy and comfortable) is a unique and affordable housing concept by VBK Groep. In collaboration with Appel Beton, the piles and the prefab foundation piles for six of such homes have been applied in Andijk.

12 draft homes Het Startpunt
The first homes as a part of the ‘Newbouw’ housing draft will be realized in Beverwijk. Vroom is delivering the capacity for these homes, carried out the dimensioning activities and applied the CFA piles, prefab foundation and prefab shed floors. In addition, the floor elements for the ground-level floor have been realized by us.

Total package for care farm
Gjalt Boonstra, owner of Zorgboerderij De Vier Jaargetijden alongside the N247 in Middelie, decided together with his wife Astrid that he wanted to expand the farm with a new living room and a new barn. Vroom is taking care of the total package: 54 prefab CFA piles, two basements, a prefab concrete floor surface of 355 m² and prefab foundation beams with a total length of 126 m. In addition, we are taking care of the dimensioning process for the entire project.

New housing project Leekerweide
The Leekerweide new housing project in Wognum is an outstanding example of working together in good harmony between the production process of pile foundations by Vroom Foundation Technology on one hand and on the other hand the direct on-demand delivery and set-up of foundation beams and elevator wells by Vroom Betonbouw. Operating in a (constructional) team meant that for all parties involved, all advantages were close at hand.
