Renovation and expansion

Outside Van der Valk in Houten we are making the foundations for an extension to the hotel. For this project we are using the HEK screw pile system.

At the end of the summer of 2020, we started converting an existing production hall on the Koolhovenlaan in Schiphol-Rijk to a data centre.

We're back in Nijmegen! In 2013 we laid the foundations for the new workshop and showroom at Autobedrijf Frank Pluym. Now we're back to oversee an expansion to the business, covering maintenance and restoration of vintage cars.

In Berkel en Rodenrijs we are, once more, working on an extension with a footprint of 8500 square metres to the site of 4 hectares that was built last year. The extension will be built on foundations of 657 vibrated piles and the site will be large enough to accommodate growth in the near future.

Lutjebroek is home to a huge grower of shallots, onions and garlic. In addition to growing, the company has specialized in processing, packing, delivering and distributing. Because of an expansion of the activities, Vroom is working on the foundation for additional halls 9, 10 and 11.

The Antoni van Leeuwenhoek hospital in Amsterdam is growing very fast. This requires an expansion, therefore, Vroom has applied the piles. In order not to cause any inconvenience, the piles have been drilled.

For the expansion of the TenneT substation in Beverwijk, more than 600 heavy prefab piles and 185 steel tubular piles have been driven. Also, 22 steel tubular piles with a low vibration level have been drilled directly next to the current station. The steel tubular piles have been produced on a limited height because of the presence of the current transmission tower.

Sun Test Systems is getting too big and in order to cope with this, the company hall has been expanded. Under the authority of Van Wijnen Weesp, we are applying a total foundation package including piling activities, prefab foundation beams, prefab hollow-core slabs, prefab walkways and a poured company floor.
