In May of 2016, we will start the application process of the Dutch part of the new 380kV station from Doetinchem to Wesel (Germany). For the Dutch part, Vroom will apply foundation piles for the 54 masts.

In the canal area on the border of Beersel and Sint-Pieter-Leeuw, 5 windmills are being placed. For the foundation of the mills, Vroom International Piling has applied the VGS piles. The production process of the piles takes place on-site, completely with a low vibration and a low sound level, and grout has been poured in-situ.

Also in Kampen, a windmill park consisting of 4 Enercon windmills will be built. The first windmills were built in 2014 and the other ones will be realized in July of 2015. Per windmill, Vroom has applied 30 CFA piles in a slant position.

For three big windmills located in the area in between Borchwerf II and Vroenhout, alongside the Mark-Vlietkanaal, Holderbergsedijk and Wildenhoeksestraat, we have applied the vibro piles. The windmills will be until around 140 m high.

380kV substation Beverwijk

For the expansion of the TenneT substation in Beverwijk, more than 600 heavy prefab piles and 185 steel tubular piles have been driven. Also, 22 steel tubular piles with a low vibration level have been drilled directly next to the current station. The steel tubular piles have been produced on a limited height because of the presence of the current transmission tower.

Adjacent to the Hellegatsplein junction we have applied the foundation piles for four winmills under the authority of H4A Windenergie. The foundation for each windmill consists of 28 vibro piles in a slant position with a diameter of Ø457 mm.

Because of the wide span, 4 VGS piles with grout measuring around 23 m have been drilled in a slant position on each side of the entrance. This project has been realized according to strict DSM safety guidelines.

Limburg Win(d)t will get a second windmill, this time on Albertkanaal’s right bank on the Genk Zuid business park. For this windmill which is located just over the Belgium border, we have applied the foundation piles with low-vibration levels. The windmill with a foundation system realized by H4A will be operational in 2015.
